We take a documentary-style approach. We will only be posing or directing you during the photoshoot. We will typically put you where the light is epic and then guide you in a direction (e.g., facing each other, holding hands) that will best use the light and look best in the scene. The rest of the day, we are unobtrusively capturing moments. We are all about creating a fun environment where you can be yourselves together, and we can be there capturing that interaction. If there is something that looks out of place or weird, we will let you know. We strive to capture natural moments, and we have found that this is the best way to do this. Also, no photoshopping - as we try to keep the photos as natural as possible!

We are in the age of instant gratification, so we understand that and work hard to make sure your photos arrive within 4-5 weeks after your event date. Engagement/Pre-wedding pictures are typically within a week. We use an online gallery system where the images/footage will be uploaded, and it's easily accessible for not just you but also for family and friends. You can download the media directly to your computer without waiting for a USB in the mail.

No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions, and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. We don't expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to ensure we have a great shot with the perfect expression for the moment. With our expertise in processing 200,000+ images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one, but again, we do not delete anything!

The raw, unedited files aren't available for keeping or purchasing; however, we can make them available for viewing. Let us explain why. Most computers won't have the software to open RAW files. They are a lossless file type that stores a massive amount of information and creates a flat image. Post-processing images with coloring/contrast/skin tones/etc. is one of the main reasons you probably like our work. We can ensure our brand stays consistent by not giving away RAW images.

Yes, we do! We have a talented and very creative team that we work with.

Yes, yes! All of our equipment is covered. We use professional Nikon equipment. We typically shoot with two main bodies, one as primary and the other as backup. Our cameras also have a dual memory card system so that in case a card goes corrupt; we always have a backup.

You sure can. We would love to catch up and make sure we are a good fit for each other! These meetings usually have to happen on weekdays in the evening; otherwise, weekends are up for grabs in the off-season.

Engagement/Prewedding sessions are typically booked 3-4 months in advance. Weddings are booked 6-12 months in advance. However, we will still take last-minute bookings if our availability allows us.
